Our 2030 Commitment

MEA Sustainability Studio is committed to empowering 10,000 organizations across the Middle East and Africa by 2030 with practical carbon accounting tools, capacity-building support, and reporting-readiness pathways. The MEA Climate Action Accelerator is one of the first cohort-based pathways toward that commitment.

Why the Accelerator Exists

Many organizations across the Middle East and Africa lack access to structured carbon accounting guidance, practical tools, and regional capacity-building support. The Accelerator is designed to close that gap — providing selected organizations with hands-on support, platform access, and a peer cohort to build a credible Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions foundation.

Your 3-Month Journey

1

Month 1: Set up and measure

Get oriented with MEA Carbon Suite, set up your organizational profile and facility structure, begin collecting activity data, and calculate baseline Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions with guided support.

2

Month 2: Review and build capacity

Review emissions data for completeness and accuracy, link evidence documents to records, and participate in capacity-building sessions on carbon accounting fundamentals and reporting readiness.

3

Month 3: Prepare outputs and plan action

Finalize your emissions inventory, generate reporting-readiness outputs, identify practical reduction priorities, and develop a reduction action plan tailored to your organization.

4

After the programme: 12-month platform access

Continue using MEA Carbon Suite for 12 months after the programme to update data, track progress, and build on the foundation established during the Accelerator.
